STEM Race day at Perkins

On Friday 3rd July, the STEM club attended Race Day at Perkins, Peterborough. The children finally got to race the car that they had built and designed the body work for. It was a great day with all children having a chance to drive in single races and qualifiers for the final. Nova received a superb 4 awards this year for their car: 2nd place for the drag race, 2nd place for the sprint race, 1st design of their body work and a 2nd place overall with points being awarded across lots of categories including how sustainable the car was, the portfolio created by the pupils and their driving skills. The children who represented Nova on this day were a credit to the school and should be proud of themselves. A huge well done to the children for their efforts and super results. The club would not be possible without the tireless efforts of Mrs Amos; another huge well done and thank you to her for this.
