I HAVE A CONCERN

The Governors of Nova Primary School are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. For further information please read our Safeguarding & Child Protection Statement

Our school safeguarding leads are here to support you and your child should you need them. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have a safeguarding concern about your child or another child.

To speak with a Safeguarding Officer regarding a concern, please contact the school office on 01733 262696 or email office@npa.keystrust.org. If you think a child is at immediate risk of harm, please call the police on 999.

If you have any safeguarding concerns, please report them immediately to a designated member of staff responsible for safeguarding. If that person is not available, or if you feel the school’s response is not satisfactory, you should seek advice from the police or Children’s Social Care.

  • If you suspect that a child may be at risk or in need of help, it is important to report this to the appropriate services, such as the Police or Children’s Social Care.
  • If you feel hesitant about reporting, remember that children have the right to be safe.
  • Often, our instincts are correct. If your concerns turn out to be unfounded, that is okay.
  • It is normal to feel anxious about reporting concerns, but please remember that we are acting in the best interest of the children to ensure they receive the support they may need.

For further information regarding Safeguarding please refer to the School's Safeguarding policy which can be found on our Policy Page.

Report Remove is here to help young people under 18 in the UK to confidentially report sexual images and videos of themselves and remove them from the internet.
